Kanjikana Core 1000 is a manually curated list of 1,000 common Japanese words, in a suggested study order.
The words are drawn from the JLPT N5 and N4 vocabulary, ranked by how often they appear in TV subtitles and newspapers, then checked by hand. The list leans towards spoken Japanese.
Each card has the word, its reading, its English meaning, an example sentence, and an anime-style illustration of that sentence.
Made for beginners. You need to be able to read hiragana.
